Update to CenturyLink ISP name

On Tuesday, December 10th, 2024, we will be updating a number of networks in the Eastern United States that were formerly serviced by CenturyLink and are now serviced by Brightspeed. For these networks, the ISP name will change from CenturyLink to Brightspeed. This is an expected change that reflects a change in internet service provider for these users.

This change will be reflected in the following products and services:

  • GeoIP Enterprise database
  • GeoIP ISP database
  • GeoIP Insights web service
  • GeoIP City Plus web service
