We have had a busy month behind the scenes at IPSearch.io. The focus this month was backend updates to improve the experience of our users and reduce cost. We made the following updates this month:
- Created API endpoint error tracking
- Applied additional validation to inputs to prevent invalid IPs from using APIs
- Created API usage tracking to track trends on which APIs users are utilizing
- Created a service to prevent bots from generating API calls
- Implemented a popup to encourage users to register by offering no ads through February
